Why are we doing this?

Providing transportation resources to teenagers can enhance their access to educational, social, and personal development opportunities. Reliable transportation can help them stay engaged in school, participate in after-school programs, part-time jobs, volunteer work, and access essential services (like healthcare appointments).

Supporting youth transportation not only boosts their immediate access to these resources but also strengthens community connections, reduces truancy, and enhances academic and career readiness outcomes. Furthermore, having safe, dependable transportation options reduces the likelihood of youth relying on risky alternatives and increases overall community safety.

In short, providing transportation resources equips teens with opportunities to develop their skills, build community connections, and pursue healthy, positive goals, benefiting both the teens and the community.
